摘要:This paper is a critique to the Escola Ativa Program, identifies the contradictions based on the experience carried out by the Universidade Federal da Bahia, and presents improving elements by proposing a Specialization Course on Historical-Critical Pedagogy for teachers of Multigrade Classes within the Escola da Terra Program, which replaced the Escola Ativa Program. We advocate for a teacher training for rural schools founded on a continuous policy and developed according to a materialist, historical, and dialectic theoretical basis, in harmony with the interests of the working class.
