摘要:The concept of human development emerged closely linked to biology. In the sixteenth century it was considered the human embryo carrying a miniature man. In the nineteenth century the influence of Darwin, the importance of genetics was an starting point, but development was defined from the interaction with the environment. Subsequently, the strong influence of the notion of temporality linked to the concept of development, allowed the emergence of deterministic visions that showed fixed stages of change. Currently, development concept is linked to emergency, variability an non-lineality.. The article examines how in the XXI century, notions of development coexist, apparently overcome, but which are clearly reflected in the social praxis. The Colombian social scene serve as a benchmark to reflect the different concepts and praxis.
