摘要：The descriptive research aimed to understand in the context of school physical education in high school, their focus on articulating element body culture and world of work provided in the Curriculum Guidelines of the state of Paraná (DCEs). To this end, we applied questionnaires for physical education teachers and high school students of five schools in Maringá-PR. The data indicated that the articulating element body culture and the world of work lacks the necessary focus as required by the DCEs. We conclude that the subject is of significant importance, deserving to be contemplated in the context of school physical education.
