摘要:The aim of the present study was to qualitatively analyze the social impact of full-timeeducation in students from the Classe 08 School of North Taguatinga, Distrito Federal,Brazil. A sample of 175 children between 6 and 12 years of age attending grades 1 to5 participated in the study. The volunteers practiced sports such as gymnastics, dance,handball and indoor soccer, and had music and computer lessons, during the morningor afternoon. A questionnaire containing 15 questions with three possible answers eachwas used. The results show that the children participating in the full-time educationproject improved their socialization, organization and discipline, feeding habits, andenhanced their knowledge on other kinds of sports, music, and computer programs.
