摘要:The aim of this paper is to summarize the findings of research concerning the application of genetic algorithm in transit network design and scheduling. Due to the involvement of several parameters the design and scheduling of transit network by means of traditional optimization technique is very difficult. To overcome these problems, most of the researchers have applied genetic algorithm for designing and scheduling of transit network. After the review of various studies involved in design and scheduling of transit network using genetic algorithm, it was concluded that genetic algorithm is an efficient optimization technique.
