  • 摘要:Ready wear industry, especially jeans, is one of industry which has fairly specific phenomena. Jeans industry is not only capable to absorb a lot of workers (padat karya) but also one of business and primary product export which is the growth from year to year surely convincing. The objectives of this study are to analyze correlation between salary accepted by the workers with their degree of prosperity which is illustrated by the degree of satisfaction, and also to look for alternatives to increase their salary and others prosperities. This study was using study case approachment based on survey using questioners with purposive sampling (n = 24) and field observatory. Data analysis using descriptive method by counting mean percentage of the workers satisfaction degree to basic salary and some others salary’s components which had been accepted, and also Rank Spearman Correlation analysis method to find out in how far the correlation between salary and satisfaction. Beside that, it was needed to count the workers’ productivity degree on 2000-2002 using productivity formula, so it could be known how far the effect of salary and component that had been given by XYZ small and medium industry for the workers, that is by counting comparison between total sales point for one year to total salary and salary’s components that had been given in one year. The result of this study showed that mean percentage of the workers’ satisfaction to the accepted salary is 2.97 and Rank Spearman Correlation is -0.160 from salary variable (P1) with satisfaction variable (P2). This result meaned that given salary can not reflect the workers’s satisfaction degree, yet. Prosperities had been given by XYZ small and medium industry still felt unsufficient, because the salary and their components can not give satisfaction yet. Whereas, in order to make their workers prosperous, XYZ small and medium industry hope for the workers able to work better and also have high loyalty and confidence so afford to do their tasks and jobs properly. Beside that, after counting the workers’s productivity degree on 2000-2002, so it had been known that the productivity degree increase unstablely compare with moving year standard, shown by the productivity degree on 2000-2001 which increase 110.99%, while on 2001-2002 only increase 83.10%.
