摘要：The aim of the present study consisted in the recognition of coaches professional competences training needs according to coaches' experience and level of education. A sample of 81 Portuguese Football coaches answered a questionnaire applied after its construction and content validation. The statistical procedure used was One-Way ANOVA to make comparison between two groups and the Post-Hocs Tukey' test for post-hoc comparisons. The results showed that the coaches with the highest level of education, levels II and III, recognized lower training needs than coaches without coach education in the areas of Training, Competition and Coach Education. Moreover, the more experienced coaches recognized, also, lower training needs than less experienced coaches in the areas of Training, Sport Management and Coach Education.in areas of Training, Sport Management and Coach Education.
