摘要:Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis interaksi antargenerasi antara kakek/nenek dan cucu, kualitas perkembangan kakek/nenek, gejala stres kakek/nenek, dan korelasi antarvariabel penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu kelurahan di Kabupaten Rembang, Jawa Tengah dan melibatkan 30 kakek dan 30 nenek beserta cucunya yang dipilih dengan metode snowball . Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara dengan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif, uji independent t-test, dan korelasi. Kualitas perkembangan (dimensi kognitif dan reflektif) kakek memiliki skor lebih tinggi dibandingkan nenek. Interaksi dengan cucu pada tipe formal, pencari kesenangan, dan tidak akrab memiliki perbedaan antara kakek dan nenek. Pendidikan kakek/nenek berhubungan positif signifikan dengan tipe interaksi formal dan pencari kesenangan. Usia ayah dan ibu cucu berhubungan positif signifikan dengan tipe interaksi tidak akrab. Pendapatan per kapita kakek/nenek berhubungan negatif signifikan dengan dengan gejala stres psikologis dan total gejala stres kakek/nenek. Peran asing kakek/nenek berhubungan negatif signifikan dengan gejala stres fisik dan total gejala stres. Kata kunci: interaksi antargenerasi, peran interaksi, perkembangan kognitif kakek/nenek, perkembangan reflektif kakek/nenek, tipe interaksi Intergenerational Interaction with Grandchildren , Quality of Development, and Symptoms of Stress of Grandparents Abstract This research aimed to analyze intergenerational interaction between grandparents and grandchildren, quality of grandparent’s development, symptoms of grandparent’s stress, and also its correlation among those variables. This research located at one of village in Rembang District, Central Java Province and involved 30 grandfathers and 30 grandmothers with their grandchildren that choosen by snowball method. Data was collected by interview using structure questionnaire. Data was analyzed by descriptive analysis, independent t-test, and correlation analysis. Quality of development (cognitive and reflective dimension) of grandfathers were higher than grandmothers. Interaction type of formal, fun-seeking, and distant figure were statistically different between grandfathers and grandmothers. Grandparent’s education was correlated positively significant with type of formal and fun-seeking. Father and mother age of grandchildren was correlated positively significant with type of distant figure. Grandparent’s income per capita was correlated negatively significant with psychological symptoms of stress and general symptoms of stress. Interaction role of remote was correlated negatively with physical symptoms of stress and general symptoms of stress.
