摘要:Rural Development Policies (RDP) will also be assessed with respect to their ability to support both mitigation and adaptation to climate change (CC). This paper analyzes the potential impact of the RDP measures in these two areas. This was done by asking 24 experts to provide a score indicating the relative effectiveness of each measure with respect to these two objectives. The scores have shown what are the measures that they deem most effective to reach these objectives. Moreover, these scores were used to assess how the allocation of funds between measures of each Italian Region is more or less targeted to support mitigation and adaptation to CC. This showed that Regions show very different behavior in this regard. Despite the limitations of the approach used, the results obtained can be useful to support decisions about how to reallocate financial resources among measures to better pursue the two objectives.
