摘要：Moonlighting can be considered an alternative source of work-related outcomes for the individual. This is especially true for occupations which are known to have high rates of multiple jobholding, such as uniformed professions (police, firefighters), medical fields (nursing, physicians) and teachers and therefore warrants study by organization and occupation researchers. In this paper the findings of a recent multiple jobholding survey of 312 k-12 teachers are reported. Among the findings are differences in the patterns of moonlighting behavior between female and male teachers. These differences include the prevalence, pay and type of moonlighting activity.
