摘要：This article shows the results on both qualitative and quantitative changes that occurred after rewriting essays. These essays were produced by students who take Languages and Pedagogy at Universidade de Caxias do Sul, in Southern Brazil. The study made it possible to follow the students rewriting process, identifying their problems and allowing them to improve their written production.
