摘要:This paper explores the emerging “historic turn” in management theoryby identifying epistemological and ontological areas of correspondence betweenbusiness historians and organizational theorists. Three emerging constructs thathold high potential for bridging business history and management theory areidentified: rhetorical history, organizational legacy, and ANTi-History. The paperconcludes with a discussion of the need to nurture a broad-based and moreinclusive “historical consciousness” in business history that expands ourcollective assumptions about the nature and function of historical knowledge
