摘要:The article highlights the interaction of areas of quality of life and different levels of physical activity in aweek in pupils from primary schools. The survey was covered by pupils of 5th grade from primary schools inSlovakia boys (n = 1051) and girls (n = 985). Quality of life was monitored through a modified questionnaireSQUALA and frequency of physical activity in a week in hours. Data are presented in descriptivecharacteristics (n,M, SD). Statistical significance of differences, respectively relations are considering by nonparametric methods at the level of significance (W,U: p <0.05, respectively. rsp <0.20). Results showeddifferences between groups of boys and girls with various level of sport performance in a week and in someareas of quality of life. Boys achieve higher levels of hourly physical activity in a week than girls (p < ,01).Boys are giving greater importance to psychosocial (p < ,05) and material well-being (p <,01), respectively,leisure (p < ,01). Girls report higher satisfaction with education than boys (p <,01). Common featuresamong boys and girls students are found when comparing the quality of life in terms of importance andsatisfaction. Higher importance than the satisfaction of boys and girls attach spiritual well-being andeducation. The same level of importance and satisfaction of students and schoolgirls attributed to physicalwell-being. Higher satisfaction for both genders was demonstrated in psychosocial (p <, 01) and materialwell-being (p <, 01), respectively. Higher satisfaction with free time (p <, 01) and given a property of things(p <01). The number of interactions between quality of life and frequency of physical activity in a week ishigh. Positive interactions of physical activity found in boys and girls students with physical well-being (p <,20), with psychosocial wellbeing (p <, 01), with the material well-being (p <.05 and p <, 20), leisure time (p<01 p <, 20), appearance and property affairs (p <.05 and p <, 01). It demonstrated in group of boys apositive relationship of spiritual areas to physical activity in a week (p <.05). The results correspond toresults of other authors in interaction of physical activities and quality of life of children in a period ofyounger school age. They highlight the importance of influencing the quality of life through increasedphysical activity in a week, but mainly to create optimal conditions and possibilities for improving the qualityof life in the social environment of adolescents.
