摘要：El presente artículo describe y caracteriza materiales arqueológicos recuperados en la meseta dePachamama y zonas aledañas, con el fin de discutir y aportar nuevos elementos conceptuales-teóricos quepermitan comprender el establecimiento de sociedades prehispánicas en el austro ecuatoriano. Por ello sematiza el área de estudio a partir de datos geológicos, geográficos, arqueológicos, que conforman elescenario propicio para el desarrollo de flora y fauna, pues el recurso hídrico en la zona es permanente y sepresenta en toda la extensión de la meseta. Esta característica es perceptible por los diferentes momentos enque ésta fue ocupada, donde se construyeron sistemas de terracería y caminos que conectan un área con otra,constituyendo una red vial. Finalmente, se propone el empleo de estrategias cohesionadoras, como la comiday la fiesta, en un territorio que, constantemente, estaba en disputa. Con ello se evidencia a la meseta dePachamama como un sitio de interés arqueológico en el sur del país.
其他摘要：The following article and characterises archaeological materials recovered from the Pachamamaplateau and surrounding areas with the intention of discussing and contributing to new conceptual theories inorder to understand the establishment of prehispanic societies in the Ecuadorian Austro region. This area ofstudy can be approached through geological, geographic and archaeological data which contribute to formthe favourable climate from the development of flora and fauna as well as due to the water source which is apermanent feature of the whole plateau. The noticeable characteristic throughout the different times in whichthis area was occupied is that dirt road and track systems were built, connecting on area with another,leading to the construction of a traffic network cross the region. Finally, it suggests the employment of unifying tactics such as food and festival in a territory which was constantly in dispute. This makes the plateau region of Pachamama an archaeological sight of interest at the south of the country.
