摘要：We reviewed briefly about the concepts and physics behind lasing without inversion and atomic coherence effect. The discussion concentrates on the analysis of physical conditions under which a ∧-type three level system exhibits lasing without inversion. At the end of this review, a possible application of LWI was reported.
