摘要:This article presents the results of an exploratory study of the success of international students in Canadian universities. The objective of the study was to identify the academic difficulties these students face at the beginning of their studies, with the goal of proposing measures to improve their chances of academic success. To this end, we interviewed ten international students enrolled in a first degree program at the Université Laval in Québec. The data collected through these interviews made it possible to identify the difficulties these students face and how they are connected to the students’ former academic training, their work methods, evaluation methods, and support structures.
