摘要:This paper analyses the managers profile searched by the big private companies in the newly graduated professionals group. The hypothesis behind the study is that there are a group of technical and behavior personal qualifications more aligned with business demands and these qualifications many times are ignored by the businesses undergraduate courses. The research was made through interviews with eight human resources recruiting decisions makers in big Brazilian private companies. It concludes that the knowledge students acquired during they undergraduate courses don’t contribute significantly in his/her employment, being more important his/her behavior and life history characteristics and the prestige of his/her undergraduate course.
