摘要:Few studies have assessed the relationship between environmental perceptions and objectively measured physical activity in older women. One hundred twenty-six women completed a questionnaire to assess environmental perceptions and wore an accelerometer during all waking hours for seven consecutive days. Participants engaged in 13.9±16.9 minutes of moderate-tovigorous intensity physical activity per day when examining physical activity in bouts of at least ten minutes. Preliminary analysis indicates that the presence of destinations within walking distance of home are associated with physical activity participation among community-dwelling older women.
