  • 摘要:Our article aims to illuminate certain power relations constructed in vocational education, specifically in the years of military dictatorship. To this end we present a brief profile of this level of education in Brazil and identify some power relations that have given and give support to our educational policies. To answer the specific questions of the vocational education we employ discussions arising from the area of education that focus on the analysis of the relationship between education and work (FRIGOTTO, 1985, 2010; KUENZER, 1988, 2010). The discussion suggests the need for further reflection on how education, instead of being an instrument of capital, may contribute to the formation of a worker agent of their own citizenship.
