摘要：The library has the right, as well as the ethical obligation, not to divulge information about a patron or reading habits, or the Internet sites visited while using the library computer, to anyone else. Even so, warrants or subpoenas can mean that the library will be legally obliged to disclose such information. Yet, revealing patron information, even if it is required by law, can cause patron confidentiality in the library to falter.
