摘要:The challenge of teaching Philosophy of Education seems to be identical to what one has characterized the teaching of Philosophy tout court. However, Philosophy of Education poses some questions of its own such as: is there, in fact, a philosophy of education? Does it refer to the "application" of some philosophy? Or does it aim at establishing educational values? In this paper I will examine the most frequent answers given to these questions, and argue the last two issues, that is, the statement that Philosophy of Education is an application of some philosophy, and the idea that it determines educational values. Finally, I will try to show that the aim of Philosophy of Education is to elucidate pedagogical theories contributing to the effectiveness of interdisciplinarity on pedagogical knowledge.
