摘要:Evaluation of Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) using Bacillary Dysentery as a Priority Disease, Tanzania, 2012 We conducted a study between November 2011 to February 2012 to evaluate IDSR system in Tanzania. It included health workers and other stakeholders from Ministry of health and social welfare in which document review and questionnaires were used to collect data. Only one hospital Laboratory was conducting laboratory diagnosis for bacillary dysentery and reporting. The predictive positive value (PVP) of the system was 0.625%. IDSR in Tanzania generally is not performing well. However the system is flexible and representative.
