摘要:This article aims to present the History Course Teaching Laboratories’ importance and their forms of scope. We will seek to examine the importance of such spaces in the education and training of future Elementary School teachers, showing their value as places for the exchange of experiences in teaching and learning, and assisting students in teaching courses’ mandatory internships. In addition, we will discuss the importance that practical activities, offered by teaching support programs, have in the theory and practice relation, as well as their value for the training of history teachers. Lastly, we will propose a reflection about the importance of the strategies put forth by the History Course Teaching Laboratories from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (LHISTE) and from the Universidade de Caxias do Sul (NAEH) to encourage new approaches in the teaching of History.
