摘要：This paper presents the results of my PhD dissertation. The aim of this empirical research project is to study similarities and differences between bilinguals from outside the world of translation and final year students from the Faculty of Translating and Interpreting (University of Granada) who have had special training in it. Translation process and target texts are analysed in both groups. This study is conducted in an academic setting and all subjects in the investigation carry out translations into their mother tongue (B-A) and into the foreign language (A-B), and the use of translation tools such as dictionaries, Internet and other documentation sources is allowed.
