摘要：This article aims to recognize and evaluate spaces that promote science at the Federal University of Reconcavo of Bahia, pointing ways to formulate an institutional policy to foster science, technology and inonovation (ST&I) through the activity of disclosure. It’s highlighted the strategic role of dissemination of ST&I for the formation of a scientific culture in the institution, so that its internal and external stakeholders may be involved in the direction of scientific and technological progress of the Reconcavo of Bahia, the region in which it operates. In this research, there was the option was the case study as a technical procedure and the empirical observation of the object chosen for the analysis allowed the mapping of the promotion of scientific culture spaces in UFRB. To conduct the study, conceptual framework adopts the conception of scientific culture and concludes that the absence of a policy to that effect is a major constraint for the appropriation of knowledge in UFRB.
