摘要:Purpose of this work is to examine the motor development of primary school level children and the youth setup of basketball teams. 71 male students and 68 female students whose age average is 8.8(Ss±1.49) have participated in this research. 40 of those who participated in research are calculated to be doing sports and their length is 4.32(Ss±5.61). In this work Bruininks-Oseretsky Motor Sufficiency Test is used as a tool to gain information. In this test 8 small and 14 skill tests exist for big muscle part, small muscle part and both muscle parts and the maximum score is 98. According to the evidence that gained from examinations those who are trained well in the youth clubs have better hand-eye coordination,visual motor control, arm, hand and hand pace,run pace and agility, balance,two-winged coordination, strength and better reflexes. Along with this,in the power tests those who use their right foot have scored higher points than who use their left foot. Also boys,who don’t do sports,have scored higher points in run pace and agility and strength than most of the girls. To sum up the youth setup of basketball players motor development are higher than children that don’t do any kind of sports.
