摘要：This paper intends to link an Architecture-originated view to Geography’s categories and analysis about municipal management in the process of urban structure production. In this sense, we discussed some essential categories for the comprehension of space, and we established a dialogue with different authors in order to define our conception for this study. From this theoretical and conceptual discussion we aimed to analyze and discuss the urban management process. It has been assumed that the urban setting is a result of the interference of the Municipal Management which has responded the action of private interests. Key-words: Municipal management.
