  • 摘要:This article has the goal of discussing about how the goiana identities are approached in the Geography education in Goiânia, and how the students conceive what is to be goiano, and what is part of their identities. Over it we identify the education contributions in the identity speeches construction having as reference the students and teachers perception. The problematical assumed around the theme is that in the contemporaneity it is necessary to discuss the cultural diversity, the sociocultural and territorial identical conflicts for that the students would be able to recognize themselves as sociocultural subject, building an environment of respect to the different identities. However to ally such thematics to the Geography education is a challenge. In the beginning it was identified that the didactic books did not point the referred themes neither the goiana cultural reality in its geographic interpretations. Teachers and students gave testimony about this reality in the Geography education. The methodological procedures used to the article realization were readings, straight techniques to the field, interviews, questionnaires, mental maps, reports and pictures.
