摘要：This study employed landscape metrics to reach its goal of evaluating temporal changes in the native vegetation of the Ceres micro-region of Goias state among the years 1975, 1985, and 2012. Results indicated a high level of fragmentation of native vegetation with a reduction in the average fragment size 47.09 ha in 1975 to 15.5 ha in 2012, and density borders increased from 62.08 ha in 1975 to 132.78 ha in 2012. This revealed a low connectivity among the remaining forest formations that can be correlated to the expansion of the agricultural frontier characterized by the intensive deforestation in this area. This data will assist future projects focused on environmental monitoring and sustainable management of this region.
