摘要：article intends doing a critical approach, in a historical perspective, of studies about phenomenon broadly known as “novo sindicalismo” (“new unionism”), that has birth in the end of 70’s and the beginning of 80’s, settled by the workers’ strikes happened at that time. It aims to identify the main comprehensive approaches that formed to the present day, especially in the fields of Social Sciences and Social History. The approach has as analytical axis some interfaces between the practical and discursive construction associated at “novo sindicalismo” and the Brazilian democratic issue.
