摘要：Since 2008, the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) entrepreneurship program guides students by proposing solutions for the needs, problems and desires present in the community. This through degree works that develop innovative ideas and create jobs. This research, that arose from the need to have information on the weaknesses, strengths and improvement opportunities for this degree work option, assesses the results of the implementation of the modality of practice in creation of companies in the UIS undergraduate programs. In the study, the degree projects of this modality were identified and characterized according to the academic program, the economic sector, and the entrepreneurial team. The results show that some graduates did in fact succeed in creating their own companies and consequently showed that is valuable to support this modality and continue encouraging the entrepreneurial culture in the institution.
