摘要：Reflection on the new digital support for information and its treatment in systems of information. It describes how a multimedia presentation of information is achieved and how it effects the distribution of knowledge. It analyses the new services which supply the new libraries and cites as na example of the necessary integration of resources the Public Library of Information in Paris, giving details of the audio-visual services, that of electronic documents and that of sound, languages and computer programmes.It sets out the board lines which the programmes for the management of information in virtual libraries will have to follow, using as an example, the Hyperion programme. Finally, it deals with the analysis of the image in information systems.
