摘要:This paper discusses a number of reflections on what are considered to be key issues in initial teacher education. Drawing upon work carried out in the context of teacher education and in research over the last years, this paper analyses the process of becoming a teacher, the complex and problematic nature of teaching, theory and practice in initial teacher education and the role of research and reflection, and the role and influence of teacher educators. The paper concludes with some aspects that might be developed further in the context of educational research.
