摘要：Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar o soneto de Luís Vaz de Camões (1524/25-1580) sob a perspectiva da Teoria dos Blocos Semânticos (TBS) com a finalidade de mostrar que os empregos metafóricos, textos poéticos, podem [ ser descritos a partir de mecanismos que utilizamos para descrever os empregos não metafóricos, textos não literários, mesmo que esses diferentes empregos realizem estruturas linguísticas diversas; e mostrar que a análise dos aspectos argumentativos dos segmentos de discurso contidos no poema fornecem ao leitor uma orientação para a construção dos sentidos por meio de elementos que permitem compreender o caráter paradoxal contido nele, notadamente pelo o uso do “mas”, cuja finalidade é realizar uma negação parcial de uma proposição. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ Becomes the amateur in the beloved thing: one Camões’s sonnet from the perspective of TBS Abstract: This work aims to analyze the Luís Vaz de Camões’s sonnet (1524/25-1580) “Transforma-se o amador na cousa amada” [“Becomes the amateur in the beloved thing”] from the perspective of the Theory of Semantic Blocks (TBS) in order to show that the metaphorical linguistic constructions, literary texts, can also be described from ordinary mechanisms of language, as well as with non-metaphorical, non-literary, ones, even though these different uses perform different linguistic structures; and show that the analysis of argumentative aspects of speech segments contained in the poem give the reader a guide to the construction of the senses through elements that allow us to understand the paradoxical nature contained in it, mainly by the use of “but”, whose purpose is perform a partial denial of a proposition.
