摘要:There is a growing recognition among political scientists that political learning by social and political actors is one of the main sources for the achievement and development of democracy. However, the literature is not clear about the the ways in which political learning redirects behavior and orientations in support of political democracy. The present article recognizes this challenge through a preliminary review of the bibliography on Latin American democratization, especially on the political elites, mass political culture, and Jürgen Habermas´s contributions, presenting also at the end some thematic interfaces as challenges for future research in the area. Key words: Political learning; political culture; communicative action.
