摘要:This study analyzes the conceptions of the term “mole” according to Chemistry teachers in Secondary school in the municipality of Yaracuy Bruzual (School year 2012-2013). The sample is represented by sixty teachers who responded to the survey. The results indicate that most of them have good information regarding atom and atomic weight of an element. With regard to the term “mol”, it was determined that they lack of knowledge on the definition given by Iupac, since its meaning is related to the individual unit of mass, portion of substance and number of particles (Avogadro’s number).
