摘要:This research aims to diagnose and prove the conceptions that students have with regard to acid and bases substances. The sample taken for the investigation report consisted of 46 students who were applied a questionnaire as an instrument, before studying the content of acid-bases in order to know the students' conceptions. Then, as soon as Chemistry subjects were studied, the same instrument was applied to prove the persistence of the aforementioned students’ conceptions. The results show that the students from ninth grade at Unidad Educativa Eladio del Castillo in Barquisimeto-Venezuela have conceptions about acid substances, but not about in bases substances before studying the topic.
