摘要：The article considers different aspects of the Russian State and Terek Cossacks interaction as a mechanism of organization of their life activities in the changing conditions of XVIII-XIX centuries, caused by the Empire politics. The emphasis is put on the study of the mechanisms of this interaction and the uncertainty of its results.
