摘要：The article overviews historiographic issues in the lifestyle of South Russian agrarian (peasant and Cossack) communities of 1920s and 1930s, as well as theoretic-methodological research tools of these communities. The key principles, directions and results of researched issues of life of the farmers of the Don, the Kuban and Stavropol during NEP time and the period of collective construction are identified. Now existing academic schools for the study of peasant-Cossack communities of the 1920s and 1930s in the Southern Russian are briefly described and their activity was assessed.
