摘要:Samples from Mongolian Ephedra (Ephedraequisetina Bunge) was collected in theZaravshan Mountains (the Fann Mountains),Tajikistan. The wood of Ephedra is ring-porouswith well-defined growth rings. Annualring widths were measured, individual serieswere first cross-dated and then averagedas a standard chronology. Correlations werecalculated between the standard ring-widthchronology and monthly climate data recordedin the weather station Iskanderkul.Dendroclimatological analysis showed thatJuly temperature is the growth limiting factorof this species. Our study has shown highdendrochronological potential of Ephedra.
