  • 摘要:overhead cranes are often subjected to heavy stresses on its structure as they carry heavy loads. One wayof reducing its stresses and there by its life span is by optimization and mass reduction. The main aim here is to reducethe structural mass of a real-world double girder overhead crane, through the use of modern computer modelling andsimulation methods and applications. The structural mass reduction are designed and verified by structural static stresssimulations.
