摘要：Electrical demand is increasing day by day, so it is important to relay on renewable energy resourcesthan non renewable. In the scenario of Kerala, it is obvious to depend on solar energy resources as the solar irradianceis high compared to other renewable resources. This paper concentrates on designing a solar PV system, which is gridconnected, for an engineering college in Kerala. The paper envisages the financial analysis of the same by takingInternal Rate of Return (IRR) and Payback period into consideration.
