摘要:In this paper, 4 - QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) is preferred for OFDM (OrthogonalFrequency Division Multiplexing) based wireless communication system. Among various digital modulationschemes, the choice of QAM is to provide both phase and amplitude modulation. The use of 4 – QAM in thisproject overcomes the drawbacks of higher order QAM’s like 16 QAM, 64 QAM, etc. It has higher data ratewith lesser bandwidth and thereby reducing the area and power consumption. The noise in 4 – QAM could beovercome by the use of OFDM.
