摘要：Accurate and appropriate moisture of soil is required for proper growth of plants and crops. Water isessential for survival of mankind, so water is required to be used with utter care and intelligence. Irrigation is thebiggest consumer of water. This paper presents the overview of soil moisture. Various methods and techniques used forthe measurement of soil moisture are discussed in detail.
