摘要:Discrete wiredconnections can be reduced in size into printed circuitboard (PCB). PCB manufacturing involves various stepssuch as patterning, etching, drilling, masking and legendprinting. During the manufacturing process of PCBhardware, the short circuits between tracks and pads,discontinuity of track and various defects may occur. Thispaper presents a novel technique for identification of suchdefects using machine vision and image processingtechniques. This system reduces the time of inspectionand increases the accuracy, even though the image scalevaries with respect to the reference image. The constantstand of distance between the camera and PCB need notbe maintained. The result of applying this technique intoPCB layout and real images are shown.
