  • 摘要:This paper presents the Discrete particle swarm optimization (DPSO) algorithm for solving theoptimal distribution system reconfiguration problem for real power loss minimization. The DPSO is a relatively newand powerful intelligence evolution algorithm for solving optimum reconfiguration problem. It is a population basedapproach. The proposed DPSO in this paper is introduced with some modification such as using an inertia weight thatdecreases linearly during the simulation and also the particle position is rounded to the nearest value satisfying theposition constraints. This allows the DPSO to explore a large area at the start of the simulation,. Also, a modification inthe number of iterations and the population size is presented. The proposed algorithm is applied to IEEE-33 bus systemand the obtained results are compared with conventional methods.
