摘要:AbstractThis paper deals with the hydraulic analysis of storm diversion system (SDS) of Begunbari-Hatirjheel lake project of Dhaka city, Bangladesh. For analyzing behavior of pipe system hydraulic modeling software, Sewer CAD has been used. Analysis has been done for both dry season and wet weather flow conditions. Different gated conditions such as, full and partially full pipe flow have also been considered in hydraulic analysis. Inflow storm peak discharge has been calculated using rational method. Dry weather condition has been analyzed using design data which represents the present operating condition of diversion system. It reveals that the wet season peak flows in pipes undergo highly supercritical with high turbulence and backflow. It is hoped that the storm flow hydraulic analysis presented in this paper will manifest an idea about the post project flow behavior in the sewer for both extreme and minimum flow condition.
