摘要：This paper is mainly discussing about themathematical modelling and simulation study of twodegree of freedom quarter car model. The state spacemathematical model is derived using Newton’s secondlaw of motion and free body diagram concept and thevehicle body along with the wheel system is modelledas a two degree of freedom quarter car model. Theperformance of the system will be determined bycomputer simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK.Passive, semi-active and active suspension systemsconnected in a single loop and tested under step andsingle bump input.
