  • 摘要:This paper presents a control strategy forthe operation of a Self Excited Induction Generator(SEIG) based stand-alone variable speed wind turbine.To extract maximum energy form the generator and toregulate the terminal voltage of the generator a controlstrategy is present. In this system there is no gridconnection, only stand-alone system is present. Thetopology of the system consists of a three phasesquirrel-cage induction machine connected to a windturbine through a step-up gear box, Pulse WidthModulation (PWM) Current Controlled VoltageSource Inverter (CC-VSI), Electronic LoadController (ELC), three fuzzy logic PI controllers andone Hysteresis Current Controller (HCC). Adump-load resistance with IGBT chopper control andthe dc link voltage is present to consume the maximumoutput power from the generator.Dynamic and steady-state performance wheresimulated using Matlab/Simulink software
