摘要：Now a days, a lot of data mining tools andsoftware have been developed. Due to the availabilityof so many tools, there is a need for the user to selectthe tool appropriate for his need. This paper provideswith the tool selection criteria, the categories of datamining tools, summarization of category and theoverview of existing tools in various fields. This paperalso comments on usability limitation of existing datamining tools. In this paper we proposed prototype ofprediction tool “The Prophecy”. This tool focusesonly on prediction of data and assumes that the inputdata is already clean. The purpose of this tool is toenable any type of user, with technical knowledge ofdata mining or without knowledge of data mining tosee prediction of future based on his data.
